Zainab Akhtar has experience with the fundamentals of GIS where she is able to analyze and visualize data to uncover relationships that are not readily apparent. She has gained this skill during her Bachelor’s at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar. In particular, her interest centers around using different research methods to effectively tackle humanitarian issues with the help of social media, machine learning algorithms and GIS software.
