Julia Maron is a first year Master's student in the Department of City and Regional Planning at UNC Chapel Hill. Her background is in environmental studies and geography and has spent the past two years as a research assistant with the UNC Institute for the Environment. She is interested in research areas of community engagement, natural hazard risk reduction, and land use planning for conservation.
